It seems that audio output level from QSSTV is quite low. Depending on the sound card and the radio, transmitted power may be low because of this.
Possible workarounds include volume boosting in operating system audio control (when possible) or adding a small amplifier between the radio and the computer. But it would be useful if there was an option to adjust audio output level in QSSTV too. Like there is in WSJT-X.
QSSTV version is 9.5.8 on Debian.
