The title says it all. Right now if I want to record some image/DRM transmission into a WAV file to transmit it later I need to do it in real-time. Means if I need to record 4 minutes long file - I need to wait literally for 4 minutes.

Can I... Bypass the playback stage and just encode it right into the file for later processing?
