It would be useful to quickly know whether a lexical entry has any audio recordings or not. Currently, I can guess that if the word is both in CW and MD (or only in MD), then it might have an audio recording - but this leads to many false trials.
Currently, the audio snippets are shown on the paradigm page, which is fine as there can be many such audio snippets, at least as many as there are speakers (with a decent recording), or perhaps all decent recordings produced by the speakers.
However, it would be currently useful, when only a smallish portion of the words have audio snippets associated with them, of indicating on the primary search page whether any audio snippets exists for a particular lexical entry. This could e.g. be a speaker icon.
We can test and try whether (1) the icon should be just an indication that audio recordings exist, and these can be scrutinized on the paradigm page, or whether (2) clicking such an audio icon would toggle playing one audio snippet (selected randomly for now, and perhaps later as one designated by validators as the bext example) on the primary search page.
