Commit/rollback of a transaction ingesting large number of resources can take longer than proxy timeouts causing arche-import-metadata to report an ingestion failure. It would be nice if the arche-import-metadata:

  • displays in the log the information a transaction commit/rollback was sent
  • catches the timeout exception and switches to polling of the /transaction endpoint for the transaction state

So far solved by moving metadata database to a storage with more IOPS
