Multiple Vanilla quests are missing their quest markers in the map #21220
Comments
@horsetuna in your worldserver window run |
Thanks! |
Since you couldn't (and a assume you still can't download the AzeorthCore via the git or github desktop) are you able to tell us what day and hour (exactly and your timezone) you downloaded AzerothCore so we can figure out what Rev you're running. |
On or around 12/27/2024. |
Issues like this always needs to be research or validated with either knowledge (or official game information). Since this is a vanilal quest I do not know if it ever got updated to have their marker appear on the map. What's the other quest(s) that do this? |
So far Panther Mastery, Troll Witchery, and as far as I can tell (I dont remember if Green Hills of Stranglethorn shows up on the map), Green Hills (IF it shows. I dont remember if it ever did when I played live). |
The 3 quests i added up there in my previous comment I can confirm the issue being reported, can't validate if this is the behaviour in TBC or WOTLK (since they didn't touched then, i think that's why they are missing the POI(s) |
Current Behaviour
Panther Mastery (Alliance) so far, and Troll Witchery (a) will not display on the map (m) despite having the quests active. Rebooting the servers etc... has not changed this. They also do not show up when the quest is complete but not turned in.
Expected Blizzlike Behaviour
expected: Quests to be marked on Map. They are not even listed to be selected.
