Email from user:

if you add a mysql database and then you try to modify the config with

[mysqld]
default-authentication-plugin=mysql_native_password

it will error saying no such plugin exists. then, if you delete the contents of the custom mysql config and save and restart, the broken config is still there and you have to delete the resource and start from scratch.
