Summary: Rest API endpoint /v1/courses/{course_id}/assignments has internal server error

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Make an HTTP Get Request to /v1/courses/{course_id}/assignments

Expected behavior: return the list of assignments in the given course

Actual behavior:
