ubuntu 20.04

Terminal emulator:
Alacritty 0.16.0-dev

Current behaviour

On change of selection of item (note, or notebook) the terminal UI flickers.

This also happens for me with the default gnome terminal, however it is much less pronounced there. (The video shows alacritty). Other terminal UIs are rendered flawlessly (vim, neovim).

Expected behaviour

Smooth rendering with no flickering.
