How can I directly send a password through an email with an API request ?

The target is to make scripts allowing this function. It would be very usefull for sharing servers password and more with a single curl command !

I've looked for something similar in the issues category, but the only topic closer to my demand has no more news. Is it already possible, or will it come later ?
On more question, will there be a feature to send a password through an email with the UI itself ?

Hi @TomHeim29 - this type of functionality has been on the list to do for a while. I'm trying but there are so many things happening I'm trying to juggle between all the things to be added/fixed/updated.

I will definitely add this, but not sure when yet. I'll post back here once I have an update.

Hi again, I asked you that because in the solution it's written "go ahead, email another password" so i was thinking that it was possible to send a password directly via mail :)

Haha that actually makes sense... That tag line was from the very first release of pwpush in 2011 as kind of a wise-crack teasing people who email passwords in plain text.

I guess I'll have to add in-app emailing soon. :-)

Yeah it's an old project that I made from scratch in 2011 and have updated constantly. ~14 years now :-)
