UTM macOS gallery downloads are extremely slow from archive.org #6971

Is there a mirror to download images from the gallery? They download at ~80 KB/sec on a good connection for me, which is ridiculously slow.

Could you provide torrents for these images?

An alternative solution:
We have the latest Debian 12.9 base UTM box at Vagrant Registry
To use directly with UTM

  1. Download the box file
  2. Untar the box file
  3. Add a Display or Serial port
  4. Start using with creds: vagrant/vagrant

If there is enough interest, all UTM gallery VMs hosted in archive.org can be uploaded to utm registry and a small guide/tool can be created to make it easy to use these boxes without Vagrant.
