It would be cool to have an additional View Type for Albums, exactly like the Grid View but each subdirectory in the selected main directory should be one clickable entry, if clicked a Grid View for the contents of the directory / album opens.

Hi!

Maybe I missunderstand but have you checked out the 'Browse View' where you can browse through the folders if your entire cloud?

Or do you literally mean albums, like defined by Nextcloud?

I'd love to be able to select the directory where all my photos are, and be able to view all of the sub folders inside that directory with possibly a thumbnail on the folders since I have everything categorized as downloads, screenshots, camera, etc.

Hi @tristann21,

this is already possible. You have to select the main directory as your home view directory and then activate recursive loading.
