@cowtowncoder just checked Reproducible Builds for Jackson core 2.15.1: jar file is now reproducible as expected, great!!! but I found a nasty bug FasterXML/jackson-core#1028 at least, it has an easy fix |

Sounds like I have 2.15.2 to publish pretty soon; there are (alas!) multiple issues wrt 2.15.1 jackson-core jar... |

this plugin release was done to fix RB issues like this: moditect/moditect#185
and it's the only missing piece to have RB ok for Jackson projects: see for example https://github.com/jvm-repo-rebuild/reproducible-central/blob/master/content/com/fasterxml/jackson/annotations/README.md
