### Increasing the data logging interval

The data reported by the logger actually isn't real-time but averaged and reported in a specific interval.
By default, this interval is 5 minutes, meaning that even if you query the modbus registers every 30s,
they will only contain new data after those 5 minutes have passed.

Users of the cloud can contact the deye support to request a change of that interval to a different value.
While this command was [captured and documented by a user](https://www.photovoltaikforum.com/thread/179529-daten-von-deye-sun-mikrowechselrichtern-abfangen/?postID=2844327#post2844327),
it [unfortunately only seems to affect the data reported to the cloud](https://www.photovoltaikforum.com/thread/180129-deye-sun600-und-sun2000-erfahrungen/?postID=3116929#post3116929) and not
the contents of the local modbus registers which still stick to the 5min interval :(

Because of that, I've built a cloud replacement for these inverters that can be found in the dummycloud folder in this repo.

Click here to learn how to change that interval

The interval can be controlled using the `AT+TIME` command.
Sending just the command will respond with the current settings which by default are `5,60,120`.
According to that forum post, those values mean:
- 5 -> Data Uploading Period (5min)
- 60 -> Data Acquisition Period (60s)
- 120 -> Heart Rate (120s)

To change this setting, the same AT command can be used if you know the magic number that serves as a password.
You can fetch that by sending the `AT+KEY` command. By default, it seems to be `214028`.

With the key acquired, sending `AT+TIME=214028,1,60,120` will then set the Data Uploading Period to 1min.
