Currently, this only really works for 1d1v simulations, but one could probably generate multiple quiet start velocities, and permute them according to bit reversed sequences with different (prime) bases. The positions would also need to be bit reversed differently in each dimension. This would naively require the number of macroparticles to have a very specific prime decomposition, but maybe the permutation could be more clever?
