Due to a bugfix of the RNGkind affecting the sample() function in R 3.6.0, all resample() and benchmark() experiments of mlr which use a resampling strategy depending on the sample() function (e.g. random partitioning) cannot be reproduced without taking user action.
If the experiments were initially run using R 3.5.x and should be reproduced with R 3.6.x, RNGversion("3.5.3") needs to be added before setting the seed.
This ensures that the old RNGkind behavior of R 3.5.x will be used even when running R 3.6.x.
This issue is not specific to mlr but applies to R in general.
You might want to check on other packages in your workflow which might be affected by this change.
